Est\u00e1 dividida en cuatro partes, en las cuales se investigan la cuantificaci\u00f3n, la manipulaci\u00f3n y las aplicaciones de las correlaciones cu\u00e1nticas en sistemas bipartidos y tripartidos.  en el primer cap\u00edtulo se estudia la manipulaci\u00f3n local \u00f3ptima de estados puros tripartidos. En particular se encuentra la transformaci\u00f3n optima local de cualquier estado formado por sistemas de dos dimensiones en el estado ghz.  en el tercer cap\u00edtulo se desarrollan m\u00e9todos similares para estudiar la manipulaci\u00f3n \u00f3ptima de estados densidad de sistemas bipartidos, y se calcula la probabilidad \u00f3ptima de convertir dos estados mezcla de sistemas bidimensionales en un estado con correlaciones cu\u00e1nticas m\u00e1ximas.  en el segundo cap\u00edtulo se discute una nueva aplicaci\u00f3n de las correlaciones cu\u00e1nticas. Se observa como \u00e9stas pueden incrementar la capacidad de los canales cu\u00e1nticos, dado que el uso de las correlaciones cu\u00e1nticas incrementa notablemente la capacidad de estimar una transformaci\u00f3n unitaria desconocida.  finalmente, en el \u00faltimo cap\u00edtulo se calcula una medida asint\u00f3tica de las correlaciones cu\u00e1nticas para una importante familia de estados mezcla, los estados de werner.
