Se ha llevado a cabo un estudio sobre procesos relacionados con el comportamiento del furano en reacciones de cicloadicion diels-alder como metodo de preparaci\u00f3n de nuevos sistemas 7-oxabiciclicos. Este estudio incluye la sintesis enantioselectiva, a partirde furano y una sulfona vinilia quiral d eun sistema 7-oxanorborn\u00e9nico que constituye un precursor sintetico versatil. Se ha desarrolado un nuevo metodo de proteccion de tioles a partir de sulfonas acetilenicas y se ha llevado a cabo un estudio sobre la reactividad de las o-benzoquinonas enmascaradas en procesos de cicloadici\u00f3n diels-alder frente a di\u00e9nofilos de diversa naturaleza. Adem\u00e1s, se ha completado la sintesis de nuevos 2-desoxi carba-azucares y los 3-desoxi carba-azucares a partir de furano.  finalmente, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio sobre nuevos aspectos de la reactividad de sistemas azanorbornenicos, en concreto, sobre reacciones de ciclometalaci\u00f3n de tipo pauson-khan y metatesis de olefinas. En cuanto a los sistemas 7-azanorbornenicos, se ha realizado un estudio acerca de la regioselectividad de la reaccion pauson-khand en funci\u00f3n de la posici\u00f3n endo o exo del sustituyente en posici\u00f3n 2 del biciclo, as\u00ed como de la posibilidad de dirigir el proceso mediante la introducci\u00f3n en el doble enlace de un atomo de halogeno. Los procesos de metatesis domin\u00f3 en derivados 2-azanorbornenicos han permitido acceder facilmetne a sistemas 1-azabiciclicos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
