Los cap. 3 a 7 dan cuenta de su biografia alumbrando episodios oscuros y fijando indubitablemente varias fechas importantes en la genesis de su obra. El cap. 8 describe \u00ablos peregrinos de piedra\u00bb (lpp) unico libro publicado por jhr y establece correspondencias entre sus partes con la escultura, la pintura y la musica.  la segunda parte estudia la funcion estetica de los nombres, adjetivos y verbos, asi como la de los principales tropos del discurso lirico de jhr. Los cap.  15 a 17 estudian aspectos monograficos de la poesia de jhr. El 15 describe la funcion estetica de los simbolos en lpp. El 16 realiza por primera vez una lectura hermeneutica de \u00abla torre de las esfinges\u00bb y da las claves para descifrar este extenso poema considerado hasta hoy un enigma inescrutable. Por ultimo, el 17 muestra de que manera ya estan presentes en la poesia de jhr muchas de las innovaciones puestas en practica por los revolucionarios de las decadas siguientes; tambien se indica de
