La solubilidad resulto ser un mal predictor de la degradabilidad puesto que solo explica el 47% de su variacion.  los resultados de degradabilidad de la pb permitieron la formacion de 3 grupos. El primero comprende la avena, el trigo, centeno, triticale, cebada y arroz. El segundo el maiz y el \u00abfat y maiz\u00bb y el tercero los sorgos.  al relacionar la degradabilidad de la pb con composicion quimica y solubilidad encontramos que la fraccion de pb-fad es la que mayor coeficiente de correlacion presento con la d+ (2=-0,7161).  debido a la heterogeneidad de las muestras se dividieron en cereales y salvados de trigo.
