El modelo desarrollado en esta tesis es una herramienta fiable para este tipo de predicciones.  consecuentemente, los primeros capitulos son un resumen de distintos tipos de antenas de aplicacion a comunicaciones via satelite, las etapas de la sintesis de una antena multialimentada, metodos de optimizacion y estudio bibliografico de los acoplamientos mutuos.  los siguientes capitulos contienen la descripcion del modelo que descompone el array en zonas (red divisora de potencia, bocina y plano de aperturas), cada una de las cuales se describen con matrices de dispersion. Ademas el modelo considera que las bocinas se abren sobre un plano metalico finito. A continuacion se realiza la descripcion de las expresiones de las matrices de dispersion generalizada de la bocina, alimentador individual, y de los acoplamientos, tanto por rayo directo como por rayos difractados (calculados por utd) por los bordes del plano metalico. La radiacion se calcula incluyendo tambien los efectos del rayo directo y de los rayos difractados.  finalmente, se incluyen numerosos resultados que han permitido la validacion del modelo y de los
