Se identifica y cuantifica los diferentes nutrientes adem\u00e1s se determina la presencia de gluc\u00f3sidos cianog\u00e9nicos que le proporcionan el sabor amargo a muchas variedades de almendras, que no son comercialmente rentables.  autores como brimer, tun\u00ed\u00a7el y conn entre otros muchos investigadores han venido desarrollando diferentes t\u00e9cnicas de an\u00e1lisis de compuestos cianog\u00e9nicos en otros frutos como el albaricoque a la ra\u00edz de la cassava.  se han realizado tambi\u00e9n algunos estudios sobre el contenido total de cianuro en almendra y su relaci\u00f3n
