En este sentido, se destaca el efecto de sus toxinas sobre los dem\u00e1s organismos acu\u00e1ticos y tambi\u00e9n la posibilidad de que estas toxinas sean transferidas a eslabones superiores de la cadena tr\u00f3fica, a trav\u00e9s de los consumidores zooplanct\u00f3nicos herb\u00edvoros. Entre estos \u00faltimos, se destaca el papel ejercido por los cop\u00e9podos debido a su abundancia y extensa distribuci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica y tambi\u00e9n por las relaciones tr\u00f3ficas que mantienen con especies fitoplanct\u00f3nicas marinas y dulceacu\u00edcolas. en esta memoria se describen diversos, experimentos de alimentaci\u00f3n con los cop\u00e9podos acartica grani y euterpina acutifrons, que fueron realizados con la finalidad de determinar las tasas de ingesti\u00f3n y de supervivencia de estos organismos, cuando fueron expuestos a distintas concentraciones de los dinoflagelados t\u00f3xicos alexandrium minutum (clones al1v, al2v y aminar1), gyrodinium corsicum y gymnodinium catenatum. Como controles no t\u00f3xicos se utilizaron las algas rhodomonas baltica, prorocentrum triestinum y scrippsiella trochoidea. Por otro lado, el empleo de t\u00e9cnicas de cromatograf\u00eda liquida de alta eficacia con detecci\u00f3n fluorim\u00e9trica (clae-df\/hplc-fc), propici\u00f3 el descubrimiento de una nueva especie productora de toxinas psp, gyrodinim corsicum. La capacidad de ingerir c\u00e9lulas t\u00f3xicas, observadas tanto en a.Grani como en c.Acutrifrons, nos permite concluir que ambas especies pueden ser consideradas como vectores potenciales de toxinas psp dentro de las cadenas tr\u00f3ficas marinas, aunque en diferente grado. Acartia grani demostr\u00f3 una mayor capacidad de retenci\u00f3n de toxinas y consecuentemente una mayor toxicidad total en sus tejidos comparada con euterpina acutrifrons. por otra parte, esto no
