Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Diferentes estudios experimentales demuestran que el factor de crecimiento para fibroblastos (fgf) tiene un efecto protector en el da\u00f1o producido por la isquemia y la reperfusi\u00f3n en el miocardio. En este trabajo se estudia el efecto protector del fgf acido (fgfa) en un modelo experimental de isquemia miocardica en ratas, produciendo una oclusi\u00f3n de la arteria coronaria izquierda durante 20 minutos, seguida de reperfusi\u00f3n de 24 horas. El tratamiento consiste en la administraci\u00f3n intravenos de 2,6 ug de fgfa o veh\u00edculo al inicio de la reperfusi\u00f3n. En estudios histol\u00f3gicos, de medici\u00f3n de la actividad de la enzimacreatina quinasa (ck), de medici\u00f3n de la actividad de la enzima creatina quinasa (ck), de medici\u00f3n de la actividad de la enzima mieloperoxidasa (mpo), de determinaci\u00f3n de apoptosis y de determinaci\u00f3n de la fuerza de contracci\u00f3n, se observa una mejora significativa en el miocardio de los animales tratados con fgfa. Para conocer el mecanismo de accion del fgf en el tejido, medimos la cantidad de gmpc como segundo mensajero de la enzima \u00f3xido n\u00edtrico sintasa (nos), y observamos un aumento significativo en los animales tratados con fgfa. Ademas hicimos un pretratamiento a algunos animales con dexametasona(3 mg\/kg, intraperitoneal, antes de la isquemia), inhibidor de la enzima oxido nitrico sintasa inducible (inos), y observamos quen o existe aumento de gmpc en el miocardio de estos animales. Por otra parte, en la detecci\u00f3n inmunohistoqu\u00edmica de la enzima inos, y observamos un aumento de la inmuno-reactividad de esta enzima en el area de riesgo de miocardio de los animales tratados con fgfa, mientras que este aumento no exist\u00eda de los anmales pretratados con dexametasonoa y tratados con fgfa.
