Se estudiaron varias cepas silvestres para seleccionar aquellas con las enzimas hidantoinasa, d-carbamilasa y l-carbamilasa m\u00e1s adecuadas para su utilizaci\u00f3n futura a escla industrial. Las cinco enzimas escogidas industrial. Las cinco enzimas escogidas fueron clonadas y sobre-expresadas en escherichia coli y agrobacterium tumefacines. Se realizaron estudios preliminares de medida de actividad enzim\u00e1tica con todos los organismos recombinantes obtenidos y se escogieron tres en los que increment\u00f3 (utilizando iptg como inductor) la actividad respecto a la de las cepas silvestres. Los tres microorganismos fueron e.Coli bl21 (de3) con la d-carbamilasa de agrobacterium tumefaciens a158 bajo control del promotor 010 del vector pbsk y e. Coli dh5a con la l-carbamilasa de bacillus stearothermophilus a245 bajo control del promotor lac del vector pbsk y e.Coli dh5a con la hidantoinsasa de agrobacterium tumefaciens a244 bajo control del promotor lac del vector pbsk. Con dichos organismos se llevaron a cabo experimentos de optimizacion de la expresi\u00f3n de las enzimas mediante dise\u00f1o experimental y fermentaciones de laboratorio, a fin de obtener la maxima
