La p\u00e9rdida y fragmentaci\u00f3n de h\u00e1bitat y el cambio clim\u00e1tico inducidos por el hombre son los principales actores que dan pie a estos r\u00e1pidos incrementos en las tasas de extinci\u00f3n. As\u00ed, hay una inevitable necesidad para conservar especies y para una correcta gesti\u00f3n que intente aumentar las probabilidades de persistencia de poblaciones en ecosistemas alterados por las actividades humanas.  el problema de la persistencia de las poblaciones es hoy un cl\u00e1sico. sin embargo, no ha sido hasta recientemente que cierta caracter\u00edstica especial de la din\u00e1mica poblacional ha sido descubierta y generalizada a muchas propuestas te\u00f3ricas y pr\u00e1cticas. Esta caracter\u00edstica es el sorprendente amplio \u00e1mbito de las respuestas no lineales que son capaces de propagarse desde los genes a los ecosistemas, las cuales han producido en muchos casos propiedades contraintuitivas a grandes escalas espaciales y niveles de organziaci\u00f3n. Las din\u00e1micas no lineales pueden producir, por ejemplo, rutas errantes en el n\u00famero poblacional a trav\u00e9s del tiempo, las cuales, bajo ciertos eventos estoc\u00e1sticos podr\u00edan conducir a muchas de estas poblaciones a una inevitable extinci\u00f3n.  en esta memoria, se han estudiado algunas de estas caracter\u00edsticas y cuales son sus respuestas frente a perturbaciones naturales o inducidas por el hombre, con el objetivo de ganar cierta visi\u00f3n para un manejo apropiado para la persistencia de poblaciones bajo din\u00e1micas extremadamente errantes. por medio del estudio de diferentes sistemas, algunos espec\u00edficos y otros m\u00e1s generales, y desde una perspectiva te\u00f3rica, hemos tratado de cubrir un amplio rango de temas en la investigaci\u00f3n ecol\u00f3gica, todos ellos con la presencia de no linealidades fuertes como su fondo general.  primero, la presencia de fluctuaciones ca\u00f3ticas (similares a las a<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
