Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Partiendo del complejo fenomeno de sintesis cultural que se produce en america latina, la literatura latinoamericana, y en concreto, la obra de alejo carpentier, intenta delimitar la identidad de los hombres americanos integrandola en el seno de una sociedad conflictiva que aboca a los intelectuales al compromiso politico y social. Con estas premisas, la tesis doctoral que se presenta ha sido estructurada en dos partes bien diferenciadas: la primera (\u00aben busca de la identidad\u00bb) constituye un estudio teorico del pensamiento carpentierino desde sus raices americanistas (antecedentes historicos e ideologicos) y vitales (influencias directas e indirectas del mundo que rodeo al escritor a lo largo de su vida) hasta su reificacion en la teoria etico-estetica defendida por carpentier en sus escritos, delimitada por el compromiso del escritor con su epoca y por las nociones de lo real-maravilloso, el barroco y el tiempo; la segunda parte (\u00abtres cronicas americanas\u00bb) intenta ser una aplicacion practica de lo observado en la anterior, mediante el estudio aislado y comparativo de tres obras cimeras de la novelistica carpentiana: los pasos perdidos, concierto barroco y la consagracion de la primavera.  a lo largo del trabajo se esboza un camino de lo abstracto a lo concreto, de la teoria a la praxis, que culmina en una sintesis abstractiva de ambos extremos en las conclusiones finales.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Alejo carpentier: el arte de la historia<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Alejo carpentier: el arte de la historia <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Curiel Lopez Cepero M.
