Las capas patogenas suelen ser portadores de resistencias extracromosomicas a los antibioticos betalactamicos con una frecuencia superior a la de otras enterobacteriaceas. Por ello, nos planteamos el origen de la resistencia extracromosomica de las klebsielas patogenas. Para ello se comparan klebsielas aisladas de nichos ambientales y de heces de individuos sanos, con aislamientos de productos patologicos humanos.  del estudio realizado destacamos que hemos observado diferencias significativas entre los dos habitats en las frecuencias de especies aisladas, de sensibilidad a los antibioticos y de cepas portadoras de b-lactamasas plasmidicas.  concluimos que las cepas ambientales probablemente juegan un papel minimo en el mantenimiento y difusion de las resistencias a los betalactamicos, mientras que la escasa resistencia extracromosomica observada en cepas
