La resolucion axial que permite este sistema metrologico puede ser sustancialmente mejorada mediante la combinacion de las tecnicas interferometricas con tecnicas cuantitativas de fotodeteccion, donde el desfase inicial con que se ha construido la placa zonal juega un papel decisivo en cuanto a deteccion tanto de la magnitud desajustada como del sentido en el que ha ocurrido esta.  otra interesante aplicacion de las placas zonales, en este caso de geometria hiperbolica, surge en el campo de la deteccion y correccion de ajustes axiales y angulares en interferometros del tipo mach-zehnder de gran utilidad en la produccion de elementos difractivos. Finalmente las placas zonales de perfil kinoform permiten sustituir las opticas convencionales en sistemas focalizadores de infrarrojo con gran eficiencia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
