Cuando la sintesis se realiza en el seno de una microemulsion a\/o, la reaccion tiene lugar en las microgotas acuosas que componen la microemulsion, y el tama\u00f1o de las particulas ultrafinas de tama\u00f1o monodisperso. Si la reaccion se lleva a cabo en disolucion acuosa, los tama\u00f1os de particula obtenidos son mayores que cuando la sintesis se realiza en microemulsiones y, ademas, se observa gran dispersion de tama\u00f1os.  los productos obtenidos por este metodo son amorfos, segun confirman los estudios de difraccion de rayos x y difraccion de neutrones, y magneticamente blandos. El comportamiento termico que muestran a bajas temperaturas corresponde con el de un material paramagnetico con peque\u00f1as contribuciones ferromagneticas, resultados que concuerdan con los observados en espectrometria mossbauer.  los productos amorfos cristalizan en varias fases cuando se calientan a elevadas temperaturas, como se pudo comprobar mediante estudios de difraccion de rayos x, difraccion de neutrones, analisis termicos y del comportamiento magnetico que presentan a elevadas temperaturas.  el tratamiento termico en presencia de ca produce un aumento considerable del campo
