Hemos analizado la transactivaci\u00f3n del promotor del gen kap en c\u00e9lulas pct (pars convoluta) y pr (recta) derivadas de ratones transg\u00e9nicos l-pk\/tag1. Transfecciones transitorias con diferentes construcciones del promotor del kap indicaban que el fragmento de 224 bp era suficiente para mediar la expresi\u00f3n c\u00e9lula espec\u00edfica de dicho promotor. Ensayos de retraso en gel tambi\u00e9n mostraban que un putativo elemento de respuesta a andr\u00f3genos (are), localizado a -39bp  del inicio de transcripci\u00f3n, unia el receptor de andr\u00f3genos. La dehidrotestosterona (dht) estimulaba de manera andr\u00f3geno dpendiente la transactivaci\u00f3n del kap en c\u00e9lulas pct pero no en pr y la mutaci\u00f3n de la putativa secuencia are eliminaba dicha activaci\u00f3n. adem\u00e1s, el igf-1 pero no la t3 aumentaba la transactivaci\u00f3n andr\u00f3geno dependiente de kap en pct.  por lo tanto, se sugeria que el efecto coperativo  de t3 en la expresi\u00f3n del kap existia in vivo pudiendo afectar a la activaci\u00f3n producida por t3 de la hormona del crecimiento (gh) y a su turno  de igf-i. Estos resultados demostraban la expresi\u00f3n espec\u00edfica del corto fragmento de 224 bp del promotor del kap y sugerian interacciones sin\u00e9rgicas entre igf-1 y andr\u00f3genos en la regulaci\u00f3n del gen del kap en pct.  la expresi\u00f3n cortical andr\u00f3geno dependiente del kap est\u00e1 afectada en hipotiroidismo postnatal. La s\u00edntesis puntual de t3 a partir del d\u00eda 11 postnatal, empieza una respuesta cortical d\u00e9bil de kap que va aumentando hacia los d\u00eda 15-16, cuando se produce un pico fisil\u00f3gico de t4 y el desarrollo puberal de los ratones. Dado que las ccaat\/enhancer-binding proteins (c\/ebps) participan en respuestas mediadas por t3 y que en el promotor del kap existen cuatro elementos de respuesta consenso para c\/ebps, hemos
