El plasmido pbl1 de brevibacterium lactofermentum ha sido usado por numerosos grupos de investigacion para el desarrollo de vectores de clonacion pero nada se sabia sobre su biolog\u00eda molecular. Por esta razon los objetivos del trabajo han sido (1) estudio de la biolog\u00eda molecular del plasmido pbl1 y construccion de nuevos vectores para corinebacterias.  del estudio de la biolog\u00eda molecular se deduce: a) la region indispensable para la replicacion esta contenida en un fragmento hinc ii-sph i (1.8 kb) que contiene los marcos de lectura orf1 y orf5. La region que controla la estabilidad y numero de copias esta comprendida en un fragmento hind iii &#8211; sphi (0.8 kb). La region hind iii &#8211; sca i (1.1 kb) parece dispensable.  se han construido una serie de vectores como vectores sonda para la clonacion de promotores (con los que se ha clonado ocho promotores de pbl1), vectores de expresion, de seleccion positiva de recombinantes, etc.  se ha estudiado la expresion de los genes amilasa y galactosidasa de streptomyces en corinebacterias. La galactosidasa no es secretada, al contrario sucede con la amilasa, el procesamiento de la proteina y el reconocimiento y corte del peptido guia en el proceso de secrecion es similar en streptomyces
