Este area muestra una sucesion bioestratigrafica muy completa del cretacico superior, con sedimentos marinos pelagicos muy ricos en cocolitoforas.  esta memoria comprende basicamente, ademas de una descripcion geografica y geologica, una introduccion al estudio del nanoplancton calcareo, un estudio sistematico y descriptivo de las especies observadas, un analisis cuantitativo y cualitativo de
