Por consiguiente, los objetivos de este trabajo han sido determinar los receptores muscarinicos (m) pre- y post-sinapticos que modulan la inhibicion de la liberacion de noradrenalina y la vasodilatacion inducida por acetilcolina en arterias cerebrales de gato. Con fines comparativos los mismos experimentos se realizaron en arterias perifericas (femoral) del mismo animal. Los resultados obtenidos indican que los receptores presinapticos son del subtipo m2 en arterias cerebrales y del subtipo m3 en las femorales sin embargo, la relajacion inducida por acetilcolina esta mediada por m3 en ambos tipos de vasos. Puesto que la relajacion inducida por acetilcolina dependio de la existencia de endotelio, se trato de determinar la naturaleza del factor relajante endotelial, obteniendose que este factor es no en arterias cerebrales mientras que en arterias femorales existe ademas otro factor que pudiera corresponder al factor hiperpolarizante derivado de endotelio (edhf).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
