<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los objetivos de la presente tesis son valorar los efectos del entrenamiento en dos grupos de deportistas con caracteristicas diferentes (fondistas y velocistas):  1) efectos de la especializacion deportiva. 2) valoracion de la funcion ventricular en reposo. 3) valoracion de las regurgitaciones valvulares en relacion con el volumen del entrenamiento.Los estudios se realizaron con un aparato de ecocardiografia doppler color en un total de 145 sujetos, de los que 56 correspondian a resistencia y 29 a atletas de velocidad.El analisis de los resultados nos permite concluir: 1) la adaptacion cardiaca en los dos grupos analizados se caracteriza por la presencia de dilatacion y\/o hipertrofia. 2) la dilatacion del ventriculo izquierdo es mayor en los fondistas. 3) la dilatacion ventricular derecha en relacion a los velocistas es un hallazgo bastante original de nuestras investigaciones. 4) la hipertrofia cardiaca es mas manifiesta en los atletas de fondo. 5) la funcion ventricular izquierda en reposo es normal. 6) la funcion diastolica ventricular izquierda es normal. 7) la funcion diastolica del ventriculo derecho esta alterada en los fondistas. 8) no hay
