Tras revisar el interes de un detector preciso de muones en experimentos e+ e- en lep, se describen los estudios sobre los elementos clave para la resolucion:  primero las camaras de deriva que conforman el detector y a las que se aplicaron tanto estudios montecarlo como experimentos con radiacion cosmica y con haces de particulas producidos por el acelerador sps en el cern.  segundo, el sistema de alineamiento de esas camaras, pieza clave para determinar con precisiones de 30 micras la trayectoria de las particulas al atravesar los 12 m del detector.  tercero el sistema de supervision y control, que basado en una red de microordenadores vme con 0s9, permite conocer continuamente el valor de los parametros criticos del detector.  finalmente, se presentan los resultados de los multiples experimentos a los que se ha sometido el detector para su calibracion y para determinar su resolucion. Estos han permitido demostrar que se ha conseguido construir el detector de muones mas preciso de los actualmente instalados en anillos de colisiones e+ e-.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
