Las amplitudes asi obtenidas presentan polos correspondientes a la propagacion de particulas externas, que surgen de la combinacion de dos divergencias que aparecen cuando los bordes de la superficie de riemann colapsan a punturas.  la primera proviene de la funcion de particion y la segunda del factor de la accion clasica. Mas aun, la parte finita del factor de la accion clasica evaluado en este limite para condiciones de contorno apropiadas da lugar a las mismas amplitudes sobre la capa de masas que las obtenidas
