Rosario <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se estudia el fenomeno de resistencia a penicilina en neumococos mediante la aplicacion de tecnicas geneticas y moleculares tales como la obtencion de transformantes resistentes y estudio de las alteraciones en su pbps, caracterizacion de neumococos resistentes de acuerdo con sus patrones de pbps, analisis de peptidos de la pared celular, electroforesis de isoenzimas, analisis del dna cromosomico y de los genes de las pbp 2b y 2x mediante amplificacion genica (pcr) y posterior digestion enzimatica.
