Nacido en el seno de una acomodada familia de comerciantes, guezala pudo dar rienda suelta a la experimentacion de las mas diversas disciplinas y a la utilizacion de los mas variados estilos. Ademas de pintor, fue grabador y coleccionista de ex-libros, cartelista e ilustrador de libros, decorador y escenografo. Su curiosidad por el pasado le llevo tambien a la investigacion de genealogias, heraldica y filatelia. Dotado de un nada inmovilista caracter innovador, fue un notable asimilador de una importante cantidad de practicas, poeticas y modelos diversos. Desde los lenguajes finiseculares modernistas propios de las distintas secesiones, guezala evoluciono hacia formulas constructivas de filiacion cubista y hacia las tensiones dinamicas propias del
