Marquiez, cepeda zamudio, mejia vallejo, etc, cuenta entre sus filas a unos cuantos novelistas de ascendencia africana. Ellos son arnoldo palacios, arturo truque y m. Zapata olivella, a quienes hay que a\u00f1adir otros dos -jorge artel y j.  zapata olivella- aunque estos ultimos no llegaron a la narrativa antes del a\u00f1o 79. Aunque limitada, la acogida de sus obras ha sido variada y divergente. Los problemas relativos a sus instancias productivas -autores y contextos sociales- han sido examinoados en estudios universitarios importantes de colombia, estados unidos y espa\u00f1a. Faltaba el analisis de las instancias textuales.  lo que pretende nuestro trabajo es examinar las obras desde dentro, en sus modalidades expresivas.
