Se ha estudiado el campo proximo de terremotos de magnitudes comprendidas entre 3.6 y 7.0, profundidades focales de 0 a 115 km y distancias epicentrales entre 3 y 110 km. A partir de estos registros se han ensayado distintos metodos para la determinacion de magnitud local, obteniendose los mejores resultados mediante simulacion de registros wood-anderson. Se han determinado diferentes parametros del foco, obteniendose valores de momento sismico y dimension de la falla menores que con registros telesismicos; en cambio, las caidas de esfuerzos son mas altas. Se ha analizado el parametro fmax, resultando ser dependiente de la magnitud y momento de los terremotos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
