Para ello las tecnicas utilizadas son aquellas sensibles a los diferentes procesos de absorcion o transiciones opticas directas en el espacio de momentos, estas tecnicas fueron la elipsometria espectral y un conjunto de espectroscopias de modulacion: piezorreflectancia, electrorreflectancia y fotorreflectancia.  el estudio realizado en las aleaciones esta enfocado en la variacion con la composicion de al de las transiciones eo y es en dos tipos de aleaciones: arinas y algap.  por otra parte se efectua un estudio similar, en varios conjuntos de superredes semiconductoras.  las superredes estudiadas abarcan desde superredes gaas\/alas con practicamente nulo desajuste en su parametro de red.  hasta las superredes inas\/alas de capas altamente tensionadas debido al fuerte desajuste de red entre sus constituyentes, pasando por el caso intermedio de las superredes gaas\/gap. Los datos experimentales relativos a la transicion e1 se explican teniendo en cuenta la importancia relativa de efectos de confinamiento y efectos de las tensiones.
