Una metodolog\u00eda basicamente estructural sirve para esbozar y desarrollar hipotesis teoricas sobre estos procesos de reescritura. Asi, se se\u00f1alan desplazamientos semanticos, atribucion de nuevas funciones y permanencia de estructuras en el camino desde la historia del abencerraje, las guerras civiles y la historia de ozmin hasta saudery, villedien, bernard, lafayette, etc.                          Como desplazamientos se analiza la nueva consideracion del individuo en su papel social, el paso a la monarquia absoluta y la adecuacion a nuevos moldes narrativos.  destaca, luego, la integracion de los modelos espa\u00f1oles en un dialogo con los paradigmas franceses. Por ultimo, llama la atencion la permanencia de ciertas estructuras miticas como son el respeto al sagrado orden de la precedencia y la neutralizacion de oposiciones fundamentales como medio de
