El ambito geografico elegido para el estudio es la provincia de zamora, debido a la riqueza de su arquitectura popular y a la enorme variedad que presentan los diversos tipos arquitectonicos y ornamentales, en base a las comarcas zamoranas caracteristicas.       En la tesis se desarrolla especialmente el concepto de geografia del color, donde se considera que el color de la arquitectura popular de un ambito geografico determinado (en este caso, la provincia de zamora) depende de una serie de factores, detectables y tipificables, como son la geolog\u00eda, el clima, los materiales locales de construccion, las condiciones economicas y productivas de cada lugar y la cultura tradicional; y que, mediante el estudio, analisis y tipificacion de dichos factores se puede llegar a descubrir dicha geografia del color.  esencialmente se hace un recorrido por todas las comarcas zamoranas, detectando y describiendo lo mas caracteristico de su arquitectura popular, incluyendo un abundante material grafico.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
