Se analiza la relacion entre estos modelos y otros factores como habitos ecofisiologicos, la mioarquitectura cardiaca o la posicion filogenetica del taxon. Se se\u00f1ala la importancia que los surcos conoventricular y atrioventricular presentan en la formacion de ramas perforantes, ramas atriales, formacion de dos grandes anillos colectores venosos y formacion de ramas anastomosantes entre los principales troncos coronarios.  tambien se ha realizado un estudio del desarrollo embrionario del sistema coronario. Para ello se eligio la pintarroja (scyliorhinus canicula), de la que se procesaron 78 embriones. Los resultados reflejan la existencia de tres grandes etapas coronariogeneticas: 1.- etapa avascular, caracterizado por la presencia de un miocardio ventricular esponjoso. Termina cuando el embrion tiene 31 mm. 2.- Etapa venosa. Se origina el sistema venoso a partir de un diverticulo anterior del seno venoso, que rodea a los surcos atrioventricular primero y conoventricular despues para originar los dos grandes anillos venosos colectores a los que drenan venas ventriculares, conales y atriales. Simultaneamente el miocardio ventricular se va compactando. Termina cuando el embrion alcanza los 50 mm. 3.- Fase arterial. La arteria hipobranquial emite un diverticulo dorsal que se divide en cuatro troncos coronarios que recorren el cono arterial a nivel subepicardico, para anastomosarse entre si a nivel del surco conoventricular.
