Se obtienen altas frecuencias de resistencia a los metales y antibioticos ensayados. El analisis conjunto de los resultados de las pruebas de electroforesis en gel, y de curacion y transferencia de los caracteres de resistencia, permite asignar un origen plasmidico, en las cepas estudiadas, para la resistencia a arsenico, amoxicilina, carbenicilina, estreptomicina, kanamicina y trimetoprim-sulfametoxazol.
