Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El conocimiento del sistema proteolitico de schiz. Pombe es primordial para la obtencion de mutantes en los cuales expresar genes de eucariotas superiores con fines medicos o industriales.  esta tesis consistio en el estudio de la aminopeptidasa yspi de schiz. Pombe.  para la purificacion del enzima se partio de una cepa superproductora del mismo.  el enzima se purifico a homogeneidad 1000 veces con respecto a la cepa salvaje, con rendimiento del 5.5%.  este enzima es una proteina dimerica de 184 kda de masa molecular, constituida por dos subunidades identicas de 92 kda cada una.  el enzima presenta una km de 0.13 mm frente a lys-pna.  el ph optimo es de 7.0, siendo estable a valores de ph entre 4.5 y 7.5. Es estable a la temperatura entre 0 grados y 40 grados c.  este enzima es una serin peptidasa y probablemente se trata de una metalopeptidasa.  la ausencia de actividad no afecta ni al crecimiento vegetativo ni a la tasa de esporulacion.
