Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este trabajo se estudian diversos esfigomanometros automaticos, comparandolos con el metodo manual; se observa la variacion espontanea de la presion arterial en tomas consecutivas, asi como las diferencias entre observadores; y se valora la utilidad de la monitorizacion ambulatoria no invasiva de la presion arterial durante 24 horas. Se comprueba que los aparatos automaticos son precisos y fiables, aunque los oscilometricos proporcionan lecturas diastolicas algo mas bajas que el metodo manual. La presion sistolica es mas alta en la primera toma que en las siguientes. Con tomas cuidadosas las diferencias inter-observadores son minimas. La motorizacion ambulatoria proporciona una gran informacion sobre el comportamiento de la presion arterial en las diferentes patolog\u00edas, siendo un procedimiento bien tolerado.
