Subcultivos seriados en presencia de altas concentraciones de bap inducen la revitalizacion de material adulto; aspecto que es mas acusado cuando se utiliza el sistema de cultivo en doble fase. El rejuvenecimiento impuesto por la aplicacion de podas intensivas puede considerarse como un aumento del potencial morfogenico mediante revitalizacion.  se determinaron patrones polipoptidicos caracteristicos de los diferentes estados de desarrollo; detectandose mediante la aplicacion de anticuerpos policlonales especificos de la subunidad de 55 kd de rubisco una menor actividad de este enzima en el material adulto, de acuerdo con el gradodde envejecimiento, y en el material \u00abin vitro\u00bb, atribuible a la presencia de sacarosa en el medio de cultivo.
