El metodo consiste en la determinacion de la actividad del enzima en preparaciones de membrana procedentes de diferentes cepas de levadura, y obtenidas en distintas condiciones metabolicas. El efecto detectado presenta especificidad para condiciones de desrepresion, y una km aparente de 25 mm. La 6-desoxiglucosa es el analogo de glucosa que resulta un estimulador mas potente. El mecanismo de accion de los azucares consiste en incrementar la tasa de recambio de nucleotidos en las proteinas ras. Utilizando este sistema, se ha demostrado que la acidificacion intracelular que provoca la glucosa in vivo tiene un papel primordial en la transduccion de la se\u00f1al. Por otro lado, se ha estudiado la participacion del producto del gen cdc25 en el recambio de nucleotidos en las proteinas ras. Se ha observado que, en estas condiciones experimentales, la tasa de recambio de nucleotidos no depende de esta proteina.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
