Y sch. Y juniperus phoenicea l. Subsp. Turbinata.  en el estudio quimico del extracto lipidio de frutos de sabal se han identificado los componentes de sus fracciones acidas por cromatografia de gases. En la parte insaponificable se han identificado tres triterpenoides, cinco poliprenoides, tres de ellos no descritos en bibliografia y un esterol.  de la segunda especie vegetal se ha estudiado la parte insoluble de un extracto de n-hexano de las hojas secas y trituradas, aislandose e identificandose en sus partes acida y neutra, un sesquiterpenoide, diecinueve diterpenoides, uno de ellos con esqueleto de totarano que constituye un nuevo producto natural, ademas de un derivado de fenilpropano y cuatro lignanos.  por ultimo se recoge el estudio de comportamiento de abietedienos, en concreto abietato de metilo y abietadienona, frente a dioxido de selenio, identificandose doce compuestos diterpenicos con diferente grado de oxidacion de los productos de
