Del alga parda glossophora kunthii (oceano pacifico, chile) se aislaron diez diterpenos con esqueleto de dictiano, tres nuevos en la bibliografia, y se realiza un estudio que comprende su correlacion quimica y de configuracion absoluta por dicroismo circular. Para el compuesto dictiotriol a-monoacetato se determino su configuracion relativa por estudios de rayos-x del alga parda dictyota sp (playa de la americas, islas canarias) se aislaron ocho diterpenos con esqueleto de dictiano, uno de ellos nuevo en la bibliografia. Se estudio por dicroismo circular los compuestos dictiol b y dictiotadiol, informados previamente, y se confirma que pertenecen a la serie del pachidictiol a.
