Nevadense se han aislado los alcaloides diterpenicos: aconitina, neolina, 14-acetilneolina, chasmanina, 8-0-etilchasmanina, 8-0-etil-14-benzoilaconina, senbusina a, 8-0-etilaconina, isotalatizidina, nevadenina, nevadensina, songoramina y la base b.  los nuevos alcaloides nevadenina y nevadensina poseen un eter interno entre los carbonos c1 y c19 caracteristica estructural poco frecuente en los alcaloides diterpenicos. Del a. Compactum se aislaron los alcaloides: aconitina, neolina, 14-benzoilaconina, 8-0-etil-14-benzoilaconina y 18-metoxigadesina. Del a.  lamarckii se aislaron los alcaloides: aconitina, neolina, 1, 14-diacetilneolina, 8-0-etil-14-benzoilaconina, columbianina, delcosina, 18-metoxigadesina y una base nueva denominada lamarckinina. De las semillas del d.  pictum se aislaron las bases: 14-acetilneolina, neolina, delphisina, chasmaconitina, chasmantinina, delphinina y una nueva base denominada pictumina. Se proponen esquemas biogeneticos para los alcaloides c-19 de todas las plantas estudiadas.
