Y coroebus florentinus (herbst) son dos coleopteros de la familia buprestidae considerados unos de los mas importantes enemigos del alcornoque (quercus suber). El presente trabajo recoge una serie de actividades centradas en estudios que aporten datos sobre la biolog\u00eda y ecolog\u00eda de estas dos especies en alcornocales de andalucia occidental, en la confianza de que puedan ser utiles para su aplicacion a la hora de un futuro control de ambas. El trabajo se ha dividido basicamente en dos partes claramente diferentes, una basada en estudios morfoanatomicos y biometricos de los distintos estadios de los dos buprestidos, y otra en estudios poblacionales realizados en diferentes alcornocales de nuestra region y centrados, principalmente, en los da\u00f1os larvarios. Para los estudios poblacionales fueron necesarios una serie de estudios previos de caracterizacion de las fincas muestreadas para con ellos poder relacionar las caracteristicas del alcornocal con los niveles de infestacion de c.Undatus y c.
