Numerosos e ilustres poetas castellanos cuatrocentistas -i,e, francisco imperial, juan de mena, el marqu\u00e9s de santillana, g\u00f3mez manrique, juan del encina, etc. &#8211; Son principales autores que utilizaron esta forma estil\u00edstica con la intenci\u00f3n de manifestar sus propias opiniones sobre cuestiones amorosas o pol\u00edtico-morales y de hacer una reflexi\u00f3n sobre la realidad inmediata. Metodol\u00f3gicamente fue un g\u00e9nero abierto y proteico en el que se mezclar\u00edan numerosos sistemas tradicionales y extranjeros. el \u00fanico elemento que puede considerarse un aspecto com\u00fan en todo el g\u00e9nero es el tono autibiogr\u00e1fico del narrador y su constante incorporaci\u00f3n de voces cr\u00edticas y valorativas a lo largo de la ficci\u00f3n aleg\u00f3rica. En la g\u00e9nesis de este g\u00e9nero fue decisiva la influencia del humanismo italiano, sobre todo, de la poes\u00eda dantesca. En esta tesis se intenta conseguir dos objetivos: el reconocimiento del decir narrativo como un g\u00e9nero literario castellano del siglo xv y la reconstrucci\u00f3n de la po\u00e9tica cuatrocentista
