Este modelo se basa en la relacion etm = kc ( a+ b rg + c rg ta max ) donde kc es el coeficiente de cultivo, rg es la radiacion global obtenida de imagenes de satelite, ta max es la temperatura maxima del aire obtenida de la imagen termica del satelite tomada hacia el mediodia, y a, b, y c son coeficientes empiricos que dependen de la estimacion del recorrido diario del viento y la humedad relativa media diaria del aire. El modelo permite estimar la evapotranspiracion maxima de los cultivos, etm, a escala regional, a partir de una unica imagen diaria de satelite.  se han desarrollado las constantes empiricas a, b, y c en dos regiones bien distintas: la Valenciana y la manchega, y se han construido mapas de etm de ambas zonas.
