Comenzamos con una incursi\u00f3n en el estado solido y la aplicacion sistematica de la teoria a cristales. Este estudio nos ha permitido caracterizar topologicamente los distntos tipos de solidos y construir equivalentes topologicos para algunas de las ideas cualitativas que han dirigido el avance de los mecanismos de enlace en cristales. Mucho mas interesante, sin embargo, ha sido la generacion y estudio de nuevos conceptos e interpretaciones: la explicacion del origen de maximos no nucleares fuera de las posiciones nucleares, el reconocimiento de una continuidad de las propiedades desde el mundo molecular al cristalino, la proposici\u00f3n de un mecanismo general para descomponer las propiedades termodinamicas estaticas de los solidos en contribuciones atomicas: o la identificacion de centros de color (centros f9 en el mgo con subsistemas cuanticos que se comportan como aniones activados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
