Las consecuencias de esta evoluci\u00f3n han sido: la importancia cada vez m\u00e1s elevada del sector de la distribuci\u00f3n comercial dentro de la econom\u00eda espa\u00f1ola, la saturaci\u00f3n de determinados formatos comerciales y la progresiva concentraci\u00f3n desarroll\u00e1ndose una estructura oligopol\u00edstica. Esta situaci\u00f3n provoca que sean pocos las empresas l\u00edderes del sector. Estas empresas deben ejecutar estrategias de crecimiento agresivas basadas en la diversificaci\u00f3n comercial, la intergraci\u00f3n vertical y la internacionalizaci\u00f3n, siendo una alternativa de
