Alba <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El g\u00e9nero kallymenia pertenece a la familia kallymeniaceae kylin 1928 (gigartinales, rhodophyta) y en la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e9rica e islas baleares est\u00e1 representado por siete taxones: kallymenia reniformis (turner) j.Agardh, kallymenia feldmannii codomier, k.Requienii subsp. Atlantica subsp. Nov., k.Patens (j. Agardh) p.G. Parkinson y k.Spathulata (j.Agardh) p.G. Parkinson.  despu\u00e9s del examen minucioso de los diferentes taxones y algunos datos extra\u00eddos de la bibliograf\u00eda, se ha aportado informaci\u00f3n tanto sobre la morfolog\u00eda, la anatom\u00eda, la reproducci\u00f3n, la distribuci\u00f3n, el h\u00e1bitat y la fenolog\u00eda de \u00e9stos, as\u00ed como una clave de determinaci\u00f3n para identificarlas f\u00e1cilmente. Adem\u00e1s se ha complementado con una iconograf\u00eda original a base de dibujos y fotograf\u00edas.  las caracter\u00edsticas vegetativas taxon\u00f3micas principales del g\u00e9nero son: la forma de talo, la forma y disposici\u00f3n de las c\u00e9lulas corticales externas, el tama\u00f1o de las c\u00e9lulas de la primera capa cortical, y la forma de di\u00e1metro de las c\u00e9lulas estrelladas medulares. La principal caracter\u00edstica taxon\u00f3mica reproductora es la presencia de un sistema mono policarpogonial. Adem\u00e1s, en esta tesis se pone de relieve la condici\u00f3n de especies no-proc\u00e1rpicas y sobre su estructura reproductora masculina se ha observado que los espermatangios se situan en soros disperos por la superficie del talo.
