La caracterizaci\u00f3n se ha realizado a partir de las medidas de campo obtenidas con una instrumentaci\u00f3n especializada: las sondas de microestructura.  considerando la intermitencia de los procesos turbulentos, el m\u00e9todo se ha basado fundamentalmente en la integraci\u00f3n de las propiedades y distribuci\u00f3n de las regiones turbulentamente activas.  el desarrollo del m\u00e9todo se ha estructurado para responder a tres cuestiones fundamentales:  1,- como se identifican las regiones de turbulencia?  las regiones turbulentamente activas se identificaron como las regiones donde el desplazamiento de thorpe (thorpe, 1977) es no nulo. Para solucionar las limitaciones intr\u00ednsecas que presenta el m\u00e9todo de identificaci\u00f3n cuando se aplica en regiones poco estratificadas, se desarroll\u00f3 un m\u00e9todo basado en la reducci\u00f3n de ruido (wavelet denoising) y la clasificaci\u00f3n de las muestras a partir del gradiente local. La verificaci\u00f3n del m\u00e9todo a partir de resultados experimentales demostr\u00f3 la validez de su aplicaci\u00f3n en todas las regiones de la columna de agua.  2,- cuales son los par\u00e1metros m\u00e1s id\u00f3neos para caracterizar las regiones de turbulencia?  la selecci\u00f3n de los par\u00e1metros de caracterizaci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 dentro del marco experimental definido por la respuesta del sistema frente a los cambios de entrada de energ\u00eda. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la caracterizaci\u00f3n basada en par\u00e1metros topol\u00f3gicos, derivados de la distribuci\u00f3n de los desplazamientos de thorpe, constituye el sistema m\u00e1s apropiado para describir las propiedades del r\u00e9gimen turbulento.  3,- como s intengran las propiedades de las regiones turbulentas en descriptores sint<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
