Los resultados se adecuaron al modelo de transducci\u00f3n de se\u00f1al pts\/ccpa propuesto para b.Subtilis y otras bacterias gram-positivas.  para determinar si los elementos de transducci\u00f3n de se\u00f1al pts\/ccpa estaban implicados en la regulaci\u00f3n general de los flujos de carbono, en especial en la gluc\u00f3lisis, decidimos clonar los genes pfk y pyk, que codifican las enzimas clave que regulan esta ruta en muchos microorganismos: la pfk y la pyk. La clonaci\u00f3n y secuenciaci\u00f3n de los mismos confirm\u00f3 que, como en otros muchos microorganismos, estos genes se encuentran en el mismo oper\u00f3n.  los estudios de la expresi\u00f3n de este oper\u00f3n en varios mutantes de l.Casei han demostraron que estos genes podr\u00edan estar regulados por un doble mecanismo. por un lado existe unamoderada represi\u00f3n mediada por ccpa y por otro lado existe una inducci\u00f3n mediada por elementos del pts. El elemento del pts que podr\u00eda estar implicado ene sta inducci\u00f3n podr\u00eda ser la p-ser-hpr ya que la expresi\u00f3n de este oper\u00f3n en las cepas, o en los az\u00facares, que poseen afectada o disminuida esta forma fosforilada de hpr, es muy baja. La actuaci\u00f3n de ccpa sobre la regulaci\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n g\u00e9nica de este oper\u00f3n no est\u00e1 clara porque no se ha encontrado en la zona promotora ninguna secuencia cre. Parece que la represi\u00f3n producida por ccpa en l.Casei no esta mediad por la formaci\u00f3n del complejo ccpa\/p-ser-hpr como ocurre en todos los procesos de represi\u00f3n o activaci\u00f3n
