Lopez Carballo <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El tratamiento con \u00e1cido retinoico (ra) induce la diferenciaci\u00f3n morfol\u00f3gica de las c\u00e9lulas de neuroblastoma sh-sy5y. Para caracterizar los mecanismos moleculares a trav\u00e9s de los cuales ra induce la diferenciaci\u00f3n en las c\u00e9lulas sh-sy5y, se analziaron los genes expresados diferencialmente mediante display diferencial ordenado (ddo). Hemos obtenido 43 secuencias reguladas diferencialmente por ra que corresponden a genes implicados en m\u00faltiples procesos celulares. entre todos los genes obtenidos, nuestro inter\u00e9s se centr\u00f3 en un factor de transcripci\u00f3n denominado id3. La familia de los ids est\u00e1 constituida por cuatro genes relacionados en estructura y funci\u00f3n, son factores de transcripci\u00f3n hlh que act\u00faan como reguladores positivos de la proliferaci\u00f3n celular y reguladores negativos de la diferenciaci\u00f3n. El ra produce una regulaci\u00f3n negativa coordinada de los ids a trav\u00e9s de un mecanismo complejo que requieres s\u00edntesis de nuevas prot\u00ednas y actividad de ruta de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n intracelular de p13k\/akt. La activaci\u00f3n de esta v\u00eda es necesaria para la diferenciaci\u00f3n celular, y probablemente tiene una gran relevancia a nivel fisiol\u00f3gico, puesto que acopla procesos vitales como son la diferenciaci\u00f3n y la supervivencia celular.
