El enfoque principal de este modelo se basa en representar el estado del sistema por medio de la combinaci\u00f3n de los valores de diferentes atributos o caracter\u00edsticas del mismo. De esta forma, este modelo puede entenderse como una extensi\u00f3n de las cadenas de markov de longitud variable a un sistema multiatributo.  debido a la representaci\u00f3n utilizada, el modelo mpsg combina el an\u00e1lisis de la evoluci\u00f3n temporal del sistema con el estudio de las relaciones causa\/efecto entre los diferentes atributos del mismo. Por tanto, este modelo puede ser considerado tambi\u00e9n como una extensi\u00f3n de la dimensi\u00f3n temporal de los \u00e1rboles de decisi\u00f3n.  bas\u00e1ndonos en lo anterior, se puede afirmar que el modelo mpsg constituye una unificaci\u00f3n de dos de los m\u00e1s importantes modelos existentes: las cadenas de markov y los \u00e1rboles de decisi\u00f3n.  respecto a la aplicabilidad pr\u00e1ctica de modelo mpsg, considerando la expresividad del modelo de hip\u00f3tesis elegido, es f\u00e1cil constatar la existencia de numerosos problemas a los que puede ser aplicado. En esta tesis se muestran dos aplicaciones: an\u00e1lisis morfol\u00f3gico del castellano y modelado y generaci\u00f3n de m\u00fasica.  en ambas aplicaciones, este modelo ha obtenido resultados
