El trabajo se centra en dos de los principales peligros volc\u00e1nicos: las coladas de lava y la dispersi\u00f3n y ca\u00edda de cenizas. Para el primero de ellos se han desarrollado e implementado dos modelos de \u00edndole muy diferente: uno, de car\u00e1cter determinista, basado en considerar la lava como un fluido bingham desplaz\u00e1ndose sobre un modelo digital de elevaci\u00f3n, con viscosidad y cizalla umbral dependientes de la temperatura, y la disminuci\u00f3n de \u00e9sta debida \u00fanicamente a la p\u00e9rdida de calor por radiaci\u00f3n; y otro, de car\u00e1cter probabil\u00edstico, basado en un algoritmo de montecarlo, que considera que los posibles caminos que puede seguir el flujo dependen \u00fanicamente de la topograf\u00eda. Para el peligro de dispersi\u00f3n y ca\u00edda de cenizas se propone un modelo de advecci\u00f3n-difusi\u00f3n, en el que a partir de las caracter\u00edsticas de la erupci\u00f3n (tales como volumen total emitido, altura m\u00e1xima alcanzada por la columna y distribuci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas en la misma) y de los datos de viento del \u00e1rea, se obtiene tanto la evoluci\u00f3n temporal de la pluma volc\u00e1nica, como los dep\u00f3sitos de cenizas resultantes.  en la tesis se propone adem\u00e1s una metodolog\u00eda para la generaci\u00f3n de mapas de peligrosidad volc\u00e1nica, v\u00e1lida para cualquier \u00e1rea, cualquier intervalo temporal y cualquier peligro, siguiendo dicha metodolog\u00eda, se obtienen los mapas de peligrosidad volc\u00e1nica a medio plazo de las
