Las soluciones exactas de problemas tridimensionales fisurados presentan numerosas dificultades que hacen que se recurra para su estudio al desarrollo de herramientas numericas tales como el metodo de los elementos de contorno. En esta tesis se desarrolla una tecnica numerica precisa y efectiva, que permite la caracterizaci\u00f3n de los campos de desplazamientos y tensiones en las cercanias del vertice de una grieta, y en definitiva el estudio de solidos tridimensionales fisurados. dado el car\u00e1cter general de esta tecncia, se puede aplicar a problemas elasticos lineales tanto elasticos como dinamicos en el dominio de la frecuencia, gobernados por leyes de comportamiento is\u00f3tropos o transersalmente isotropos. se presentan numerosos resultados para grietas con diversas formas geometricas planas y curvas,
