Se ha calculado el momento dipolar de las doce conformaciones posibles de la nabumetona y las cuatro del metabolito en cada una de sus formas, ionizada y no ionizada.  se han determinado, mediante medidas espectroflulorim\u00e9tricas, las constantes de formaci\u00f3n k1:1, de los complejos de la nabumetona y de su metabolito con beta-, metil beta- e hidroxipropil beta-ciclodextrina a diferentes temperaturas. Se han obtenido los par\u00e1metros termodin\u00e1micos asociados al proceso de complejaci\u00f3n.  las isotermas de solubilidad de la nabumetona con alfa- y y-ciclodextrina, establecen la formaci\u00f3n de complejos de estequiometr\u00eda 1:1 y 1:2 con la alfa-ciclodextrina y de complejos de solubilidad limitada de estequiometr\u00eda 1:1 con la y-ciclodextrina, calculando las constantes de formaci\u00f3n correspondientes.  la espectroscop\u00eda de resonancia magn\u00e9tica de prot\u00f3n y la modelizaci\u00f3n molecular, confirman la inclusi\u00f3n de la nabumetona y de su metabolito en la cavidad de la beta-ciclodextrina y aportan informaci\u00f3n acerca de la orientaci\u00f3n de ambos compuestos en dicha cavidad.  se ha comprobado que el perclorato s\u00f3dico participa como agente \u00absalting in\u00bb en disoluciones acuosas de nabumetona disminuyendo la constante de formaci\u00f3n de los complejos con las beta-ciclodextrinas.  se han obtenido y
